Separate bombing and shooting incidents have left at least 10 people dead in Pakistan as militancy continues to haunt the South Asian country.
In the southwestern Baluchistan province, at least four people, including a member of the security personnel, were killed when unknown armed men opened fire on a police convoy in Mastung district, local police officials told Press TV on Tuesday.
Separately, at least two people were killed and one was injured in an arson attack in Baluchistan's Quetta city.
Security forces immediately cordoned off the area and shifted the injured to a local hospital.
Also on Tuesday, a remote-controlled bomb attack in Pakistan's northwestern Orakzai district left at least two police officers dead and another one injured, local authorities told Press TV.
No group has yet taken responsibility for the attack.
Two children were killed in a landmine blast in northwest Pakistan's Wali Abad area in Qandharo tehsil late on Monday.
Pakistan's security landscape has been marred by growing acts of militancy, sectarian and ethno-political violence.
In northwestern Pakistan, Taliban-linked militants have recently waged a campaign of bomb blasts against government compounds.
In April, the United States acknowledged that the Taliban have gained strength in the volatile tribal regions which border Afghanistan.
