Islamabad : 5 foreign suicide bombers were killed
Tuesday when they tried to target a check post on the outskirts of
Quetta, the capital of Pakistan's southwestern Balochistan province,
Xinhua reported.
One of the attackers detonated his bomb and killed himself and
his accomplice, while three women bombers were shot dead by the
security forces when they lobbed grenades towards the check post at
Kharotabad neighbourhood in Quetta.

The militants also exchanged fire at the check post with the paramilitary Frontier Corps, before being killed.
The attackers seemed to be Chechens or Uzbeks, the Frontier Corps said.
A Geo News report described the attackers as 'Chechen militants'.
Quetta police chief Daud Janejo told reporters the attackers were Chechens. They were armed with heavy weapons and suicide jackets, Online news agency said.
There were no casualties or injuries among the security forces, he added. IANS
