Pakistan returns tale of US Blackhawk crashed in Abbottabad raid

Washington: Almost three weeks after US Navy Seals raided on Osama bin Ladin’s compound in Abbottabad, the tail of the stealth helicopter that was crashed in the operation reached back in America, Pentagon officials confirmed on Tuesday.

Senator John Kerry, Chairman of the Foreign Relations Committee, met with Pakistan’s top leaders last Monday asking them to return the remains of their demolished chopper. Immediately after Kerry’s visit, discussion started between the US military and its Pakistani counterparts about how best to arrange the shifting of the helicopter tail. The Pentagon now has a confirmation that it has been transferred to US custody. Online
