ISLAMABAD: Dr. Abdul Qadir khan on Saturday has claimed that
Pakistan’s nuclear assets are safe and no body can access them; their
security is fool proof.
West is making baseless propaganda from
the day one against Pakistan’s nuclear weapons, Dr. Abdul Qadir Khan
said while talking to a private TV channel on the occasion of 13th
Youm-e-Takbir.
Incidents of terrorism occur in the whole world
Pakistan is not the only country that faces this problem. For the
resolution of energy crisis water resources should be focused on rather
than atomic sources.
He further said that Pakistan has been safeguarding its atomic assets since past 35 years.
After
testing of the nuclear weapons General Arif, General Mirza Aslam Baig
and General Wahid Kakar had taken enough measures for the safety and
foolproof security of the nuclear weapons.
Our nuclear arsenal
is in safe hands western countries have been doing baseless propaganda
against our atomic weapons by making terrorism an issue. We are
satisfied with the security and safety of our nuclear arsenal nobody
can damage the security system made by Pakistan Army.
Kahuta
plant was established 35 years ago, not even a single incident was
observed since than which can be a proof of our ability to safeguard
our atomic arsenal.
Small incidents of terrorism are a part of
world, not only Pakistan but various other countries are also facing
this problem, it does not means that the world should start accusing us
of being incapable of protecting our nuclear asserts.
He raised
his concerns on the severe energy crisis in the country. He said that
this energy crisis should have been resolved long before; the solution
of this problem lies in using the water resources for making
electricity. More and more dams should be made.
He
congratulated the whole nation on completing 13 years of being a
nuclear weapon state. He advised to trust Allah and should not get
