Vaughan has expressed confidence about retaining the services of
bowling coach Allan Donald despite rumours Cricket South Africa
expressing an interest in the former quick.
Donald began working with the Black Caps earlier this year and appeared
to have an immediate impact on the side during the World Cup. He was recently linked to a coaching role with the national Australian team but was passed over for Craig McDermott, opening the door for a return to New Zealand.
An insider told the Sunday Star-Times last week that CSA was suddenly making noises about using Donald as a Proteas bowling coach.
While CSA boss Gerald Majola was unavailable for comment, Vaughan said it was news to him that another national board might be eager to secure the services of the South African test great, especially given he has already verbally agreed to a new deal over here. (ANI)
