Karachi : President of Pasban Pakistan Altaf Shakoor has said that the government of Pakistan and opposition parties should adopt a clear-cut stance on the sensitive issues like the US drone attacks, NATO supply line and case of Pakistani mother Dr. Aafia Siddiqui.
Addressing during a visit to Pasban Help Line Secretariat, Main University Road, Karachi, he praised the brave stance of the Parliamentary Committee for National Security on drone attacks and NATO supplyline. He said shooting down intruding drones and blocking the NATO supply would be according to the aspirations of whole nation.
Altaf Shakoor regretted that thousands of innocent Pakistanis had been killed by the US drones attacksduring last three years. He said this violation of Pakistan territorial sovereignty is spreading angeramong the people of Pakistan.
He hoped that the politicians belonging to government and opposition parties would play their role in stopping drones attacks, blocking NATO supply line through Pakistan and bringing Dr. Aafia back home.PPI
