Pakistan Muslim League-N Mian Nawaz Sharif on Saturday said PML-N was an ideological party which will bring about a change to the country.
“We have taken a stand against the establishment and we will maintain it. Through this stand, we will change the country,” he told newsmen after addressing a students’ function at the Punjab University of Engineering & Technology campus here on Saturday.
To a query on joining of Pakistan Tehrik-e-Insaf by his party’s veteran leader Mukhdoom Javed Hashmi, PML-N Chief said they had good time while working together during which they both supported each other.
He mentioned that he was in contact with Mr. Hashmi while he was languishing in prison when he himself was in exile.
“He (Mr. Hashmi) would have pondered over before taking this decision,” said Nawaz Sharif adding that “He (Mr. Hashmi) had better said Good Bye before leaving (PML-N).”
However, Nawaz Sharif said PML-N was an ideological party, which for the first time in the history of country had taking a stand against the establishment. He vowed his party would maintain this stand.
“The existing team (of PML-N) will take the country into a new arena,” he claimed. PPI
