Army Chief General Ashfaq Parvez Kayani made a telephonic call to President Asif Ali Zardari and inquired his health.
According to the spokesman of the presidency Farhatullah Babar,
General Kayani called President Zardari during the meeting with Prime
Minister Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani at the Prime Minister House on Saturday
night.
According to the sources of a private TV channel both the leaders
tried to narrow down the differences between the army and government
after the memogate scandal.
During the telephonic call army chief inquired about the health of
president upon which president said that my health is improving.
President Zardari said that the memo issue is a conspiracy against
Pakistan, adding that this conspiracy would be sorted out after the
investigations; meanwhile President Zardari said that he would return
country soon.
