Shiekh Rasheed urges to rely on security forces instead of Americans

ISLAMABAD: Chief Awami Muslim League (AML) Shiekh Rasheed has said that we should focus on our own security institutions instead of relying Americans including General James Jones and Central Intelligence Agency (CIA).

Talking exclusively to Online, Shiekh Rasheed, who spent more than a decade in the parliament, stated that he had provided all the evidences to the Abbottabad Commission regarding Hussain Haqqani’s Public Relations firm,Communications Research Strategies (CRS), and issuance of 400 visas to the foreigners.
He further stated that the masses should concentrate on their army personnel as ISI Director, Ahmed Shuja Pasha and Chief of Army Staff General Ashfaq Pervez Kayani termed the memogate a reality. The two military men observed before the apex court that the controversial issue of memo should be probed thoroughly.
Shiekh was of the opinion that our own institutions should be more reliable than the Americans. The security institutions would not take any decision against the national integrity. He further stated that he proffered to appear before the Abbottabad Commission instead of the Supreme Court and recorded his statement in this regard.
He also informed Online that he provided evidences related to Hussain Haqqani, hoping that the commission will reach to solid conclusion.
