ISLAMABAD: Chief Awami Muslim League (AML) Shiekh Rasheed has said
that we should focus on our own security institutions instead of relying
Americans including General James Jones and Central Intelligence Agency
(CIA).
Talking exclusively to Online, Shiekh Rasheed, who spent
more than a decade in the parliament, stated that he had provided all
the evidences to the Abbottabad Commission regarding Hussain Haqqani’s
Public Relations firm,Communications Research Strategies (CRS), and
issuance of 400 visas to the foreigners.
He further stated that
the masses should concentrate on their army personnel as ISI Director,
Ahmed Shuja Pasha and Chief of Army Staff General Ashfaq Pervez Kayani
termed the memogate a reality. The two military men observed before the
apex court that the controversial issue of memo should be probed
thoroughly.
Shiekh was of the opinion that our own institutions
should be more reliable than the Americans. The security institutions
would not take any decision against the national integrity. He further
stated that he proffered to appear before the Abbottabad Commission
instead of the Supreme Court and recorded his statement in this regard.
He also informed Online that he provided evidences related to
Hussain Haqqani, hoping that the commission will reach to solid
conclusion.
It is vital to mention here that a commission under
