Pak army feels happy to remover Zardari: Washington Post

An American newspaper has claimed that the Pakistan army would feel happy over the removal of President Asif Ali Zardari and to held elections before time.

According to the American newspaper “Washington Post”, the army chief strongly and aggressively demanded from the Supreme Court of Pakistan to investigative the memo case, adding that the army seems to be fearful from the issue of sending memo to American officials.
The newspaper said that the clash between powerful military and week civilian government had been avoided due to the contradictory statements of different people regarding the memo gate case, adding that the military wants to disclose the facts through Supreme Court but the government wants to investigate the memogate scandal with its parliamentary committee.
The newspaper stated that the military either wants to remover or make President Asif Ali Zardari weak but they do not want to throw the issues of foreign policy and national security in danger, adding that despite of a number of meetings between the Army Chief and Prime Minister it will not be cleared that if the Supreme Court would summoned President Zardari or not.
