Zardari ensure MQM to root out reservations

President Asif Ali Zardari has assured the MQM that strict action will be taken against those violating PPP party policy.

The MQM delegation called on President Asif Ali Zardari at Aiwan-e-Sadar and informed the president about the reservations regarding the Sharjeel Memon visit with Zulfiqar Mirza to London.
Speaking to a private TV channel, MQM leader Babar Ghauri said this assurance was made during the meeting between his party representatives and President Zardari.
Ghauri said that during the meeting President Zardari spoke with MQM chief Altaf Hussain over the telephone and said that MQM’s grievances would be addressed.
He said that if Mirza would take 100 suit cases with him to London the MQM would have no objection over it, adding that every body knows that the Mirza is liar and trying to start unrest in Karachi.
Commenting on Dr Zulfiqar Mirza meeting with officials from the Scotland Yard, Ghauri said it did not matter how much documentation the former provincial Home Minister provided to them.
Following the assurance the MQM has cancelled its news conference and general workers meeting.  SANA
