Pakistani Ambassador in US Hussain Haqqani has refused
to return Pakistan due to the fear of arrest over sending a memo
against the military leadership of Pakistan to US administration.
Meanwhile the wife of Hussain Haqqani, Farah Naz Asfahani, who is
also the Advisor of President Asif Ali Zardari, has gone on UAE visit
due to fear of arrest.
It is also revealed that the memo sent to the US administration was
prepared by Principal Secretary of the President, Salman Farooqi;
meanwhile the sources said that the principal secretary of the president
is the important role in sending of memo to US administration.
According to the sources the memo was prepared in Dubai, from where
it was sent to Hussain Haqqani in Washington; meanwhile Farooqi and
Haqqani remained on telephonic contact with each other from Dubai
regarding the memo.
According to the sources Mansoor Ijaz had played important role in
delivering the memo to the US administration; meanwhile Mansoor had
struck deal with the said officials of the government.
According to the deal Mansoor had to receive $ 100 million from which Mansoor received 30 million dollars.
According to the sources the deal between Mansoor and Haqqani was
struck according to which in the present Pak-US relations especially
relations of military with US, Mansoor would put pressure on Pakistani
government through US government; following which President Asif
Zardari would fire Chief of Army Staff General Ashfaq Parvez Kayani and
DG ISI Lt General Ahmed Shuja Pasha; meanwhile when Mansoor did not
receive the whole money he revealed the matter in the media.
On the other hand the military has increased the pressure on prime
minister to call back Hussain Haqqani and fire him from his post;
meanwhile feeling the intensity of the matter Hussain Haqqani has
refused to return in country.
Hussain Haqqani has fears that he would be arrested after returning
Pakistan; meanwhile due to the same fear the wife of Hussain Haqqani has
also left for Dubai.
