LAHORE: A petition has been filed in Supreme Court Lahore Registry
for declaring former US Joint Chiefs of Staff Mike Mullen and Pakistani
origin US businessman Masoor Ijaz as ’persona no grata’ and to form a
commission to probe into Ijaz Mansoor’s memo.
Counsel for
petitioner, Bar at Law Zafar Ullah has filed a petition in the Supreme
Court, seeking formation of a commission to probe into the memo written
by Pakistani-born US businessman Ijaz Mansoor.
The petitioner
said the memo is a conspiracy against the Pak army and the government,
which is defaming Pakistan. He requested the court to summon Mike
Mullen, Hussain Haqqani and Ijaz Mansoor to investigate the matter.
