No pressure to resign: Mamon

Karachi: After resigning from his portfolio, Sharjeel Mamon Saturday clarified that he did not resign over pressure of anybody instead left his post voluntary.

Speaking to media persons here at Karachi airport he Mamon said that the president has called him and listened to his point of view. Mamon said his explation was not considered good enough therefore his presented his resignation before the President.
He admitted that his party faced trouble caused by him as an ally party expressed their reservations over his trip to London acompinied by Zulfiqar Mirza.
He said he has apologized to party leadership for inconvinience caused by him however his reiterated that his trip was private and it had nothing to do with Zulfiqar Mirza’s move against MQM chief.
He said after resignation all his official protocols have been withdrawn and now wanted to rest for few months.
Reaffirming his friendship with rebel leader of Peoples Party Mamon said that he would keep good relation with Zulfiqar Mirza.
On a qurey, former minister said that he apologized to his party and there was no question to say sorry to any other party. Online
