ISLAMABAD/JAHANIAN: Lawyers’ Community would stage protest and
observe Black Day throughout the country against Musharraf’s
unconstitutional acts on 3rd of November, 2007.
Former dictator
Pervez Musharraf had imposed emergency, banned electronic media and
imprisoned the judges on 3rd of November 2007. In this connection
Lawyers’ community would hold protest rallies and observe black day
throughout the country on 3rd November. Lawyers will boycott the courts
and observe strike.
Like the whole country, Multan, DI Khan,
Bahawalpur, Muzzaffargarh, Vehari, Khanewal, Jahanian including the Bar
Associations of the whole province would boycott the courts. On the
respective occasion, political parties along with PML(N) and people of
civil society would show solidarity.
Meanwhile, president Bar
Association Jahanian Chaudhry Tahir Randhawa Advocate said that Bar
Association Jahanian would observe Black Day on 3rd November and a
ceremony would be held in the Bar Room. He added that the movement
would remain continuous till the complete accomplishment of the
