Eid-ul-Azha: inflation on full swing in sasta bazaars

ISLAMABAD: On advent of Eid-ul-Azha, daily commodities are being sold at exorbitant rates in sasta bazaars.

The residents of federal capital expressed grave concern over increasing rates of daily commodities in sasta bazaars. The residents wailed that the profiteers are fleecing the innocent customers while there is no check and balance on them.
Potatoes are being sold at Rs 166 per 5-kg, onions are being sold at Rs 280 per 5-kg, tomatoes are being sold at Rs 80 per kg, capsicum being sold at Rs 80 per kg, lemon being sold at Rs 60 per kg, grapes are being sold at Rs 190 per kg, dates are being sold at Rs 200 per kg, garlic being sold at Rs 80 per kg and ginger being sold at Rs 80 per kg.
The residents have demanded of the higher authorities to impose check and balance on the sasta bazaars. Online
