Three terminated, four suspended in SHL

The administration of Services Hospital Lahore (SHL) instead of extension in contracts has terminated three male nurses on dissatisfactory performance, meanwhile suspension orders of four employees also have been issued on their involvement in theft of medicines from hospital.

According to details administration has terminated to Robin Rafiq, Asif Younis and Ubaid Shahzad on dissatisfactory performance and four employees Muhammad Arshad, Javed Iqbal, Waheed Murad and Riaz have been suspended on allegations of theft of medicines from hospital. They were arrested by the Bhati Gate Police. Hospital administration has issued warning to another nurse Shahida Jabeen on violation of discipline.
Medical Superintendent (MS) Services Hospital Dr. Muhammad Javed during emergency meeting directed that nursing staff, storekeepers, ward boys, operation theatre attendants and other employees should be transferred to other departments, adding that the security personals should keep check on employees going out of hospitals. The thieves group involved in theft of medicines would be arrested soon, he added.
MS Javed appreciating police on arrest of medicine thieves said that there would not be any relaxation to those employees, who are earning bad name for hospital. SANA
