Son kills parents including 6 siblings in Gujranwala

A brutal son has killed eight family members including his parents, four brothers and two sisters in Kallar Abadi area of Gujranwala on Sunday.

According to the police the accused Afzal killed his six siblings and parents after drugging them, adding that the family members were shot at a point-blank range. Murder weapon, a 30-bore pistol, was also recovered as an injured Afzal himself led the police to it.
He killed his father Asghar, mother Sajida, his brothers namely Amir, Abid, Iqbal, Muzammal and two sisters Anam and Sanam.
The motive according to Afzal 20, was constant domestic bickering, which drove him to commit this heinous act.
Earlier the culprit had told police that unknown gunmen entered into their house and killed his whole family, but his injured hand gave the game away to police.
The unfortunate family is reported to be very poor as Asghar, the deceased father was a donkey-carter.
Later, Afzal told police that he first killed his parents while they were still asleep and then tied-up his siblings to gun them dead.
Accused said that his father was a gambler and he was squabbling at home every day I was irritated by father’s attitude so first I killed my parents then siblings. According to police the investigations are underway from the accused. SANA
