KARACHI: In pursuance of directives of Supreme Court (SC), Sindh
government has issued notification with regard to appointment of 6
judges in Anti Terrorism Courts (ATCs).
Scores of cases were
pending hearing due to non appointment of judges in 6 courts. Judges
have been appointed in all the 11 courts of Sindh in compliance of
directives of SC.
As per notification, Shahid Shafiq has been
appointed judge in Badin, Rashid Soomro in Jacobabad, Syed Saeed Hassan
in Khairpur, Muhammad Javed Alam in Hyderabad, Syed Saghir Zaidi in
Nawab Shah and Ghulam Mustafa G Memon in Karachi –3. Online
