Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) President Mian Muhammad Nawaz
Sharif has said that this is not the time of saving the government and
playing politics; instead of this is the time of saving the country,
adding that the situation of Sindh, Balochistan and khayber
paakhtoonkhawa are deteriorating and conspiracies are being hatched to
divide Punjab.
He said that today Pakistan is considered most corrupt country in
the world and is termed as the failed state, adding that Pakistan has
be isolated in the world community.
Addressing the participants after the balloting of yellow cab scheme
here at al-Hamra Hall, Nawaz Sharif said that President Asif Zardari is
protecting the corruption of ministers, adding that if a court award
sentence to any body President Zardari pardoned that person.
He said that the efforts are going on to break the country; but the
PML-N would foil these efforts, adding that if Pakistan had not been
dragged in terrorism the circumstances of the country would not have
been the like today.
He said that the family of Commerce Minister Makhdoom Amin Fahim
deposited 35 million rupees and confessed the corruption but he is
still present on post of minister, adding that PML-N had taken
resignations from MNA Haji Pervez Khan and MPA from Punjab assembly.
He said that the PML-N always upheld the politics of merit and in
the result of failure of arrest of Hamik Saeed killers the PML-N chief
minister Sardar Liqaut Jatoi was sacked, adding that the PML-N paid the
price of parting ways of MQM with the PML-N government in Sindh after
1997 elections.
He said that the democratic set up has failed to fulfill the
aspirations of the masses, adding that those leaders who used to talk
strengthening the country are annoyed today.
He said that today in every street of the country the protests are
going on against the load shedding, adding that the seriousness of the
government could be judged from the acts of the government that a power
house of 450 mega watts is present on the Karachi port and government
is not using the 950MW power house.
He said that those who use to call each other as enemies are sitting
in government today, adding that the witnesses are not being presented
in courts.
He said that those who term PML-N as friendly opposition are sitting
where, adding that the holding of long march for the restoration of
deposed judges and imposition of governor’s rule are not acts against
the friendly opposition.
Nawaz Sharif said that if president Zardari had not played bad politics it would have been better for him.
He said that his father was hard worker and in the result of the
establishment of Pakistan prosperity came to his house in result of
hard work.
Chief Minister Punjab Mian Shahbaz Sharif, Senior Advisor to CM
Sardar Zulfiqar Khosa, Arif Nizami and Ataul Haq Kasmi were also
