Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) and Pakistan Muslim League (Likeminded)
group has formed the six member committee for the unification of Muslim
League factions; meanwhile the committee would be consisting on three
members from each party.
On the other hand, Muslim League (Likeminded) has announced to contest the next elections from the platform of PML-N.
Pakistan Muslim League (Likeminded) Chairman Salim Saifullah Khan met with PML-N President Mian Nawaz Sharif here on Monday.
Both the leaders discussed the over all situation of the country and discussed about the possible cooperation in politics.
During the meeting different suggestions regarding the possible alliance was came under discussion.
Six-member committee is consisting on Senator Ishaq Dar, Sartaj
Aziz, Sardar Mehtab Ahmed Khan Abbassi, Salim Saifullah Khan, Khurshid
Mehmood Kasuri and Humaun Akhtar Khan.
Talking to media persons Salim Saifullah Khan said that PML-Q is
part of government and it would no be contacted for the alliance,
adding that all other factions of the Muslim League would contacted.
He said that Mian Nawaz Sharif has shown desire that the Likeminded
group be merged in the PML-N, adding that the next elections would be
contested jointly.
He said that the dialogues are source of further strengthening the
democratic institutions, adding that no one should object on the
political contacts, adding that the dialogue on national issues should
continue. SANA
