Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz MNA Anjum Aqeel Khan was sent on a 14-day judicial remand in land scam case here on Monday.
Anjum Aqeel was presented before duty magistrate Malik Naeem Shaukat in court after the expiry of his 10-day judicial remand.
The Federal Investigation Agency requested the court to extend Aqeel’s judicial remand which was later granted.
Aqeel was arrested in connection with the National Police Foundation fraud case from the FIA office.
The court adjourned the hearing till August 22 after granting extension in his judicial remand.
Later talking to media Anjum Aqeel said that case filed against him is of civilian nature not criminal. He said that he has prepared a response to the show cause notice issued to him by the party and soon he would satisfy the party leadership. SANA
