Rehman Malik asks non-registered NGOs to get register in 15 days

Interior Minister Rehman Malik has asked all non-registered NGOs to get themselves registered in fifteen days.

Addressing a ceremony of Islamabad Police in the capital on Thursday, he said foreigners cannot travel from one city to the other without visa and violators would be taken to task.
The Interior Minister said action would also be taken against all those who would create law and order situation in Karachi.
He said the strength of Islamabad police would be increased from the existing ten thousand to fifteen thousand to beef up security in the capital.
Responding to demands of the police personnel, he announced establishment of a school for children of police personnel in Islamabad and ten percent quota for Islamabad Police in the housing society of the Interior Ministry.
Speaking on the occasion, IG Islamabad Binyamin said 21 personnel of Islamabad police force have embraced martyrdom in terrorism related incidents besides 19 others in different incidents.
He said a Quick Response Service has been initiated that reaches the scene of the incident or to the help of the person in distress in five minutes. SANA
