Amir Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam Maulana Fazlur Rehman has said that chances should
not be provided to government to gain sympathies by targeting the
assemblies and political and military leadership is on same board
regarding the America policies.
In an interview with a private TV channel, he said that all rulers
are delivering American desired policies, Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan
should call a joint meeting of opposition to normalize the political
temperature in the country and contacts are not broken for the
restoration of MMA.
Maulana Fazlur Rehman said that they had same differences with the
government like MQM that coalition government never existed in the
country and they separated from the government because government was
fulfilling its promises.
He said that larger groups should get chances in federation and
provinces to form their governments and if a clear political system is
not defined then every political party would work according to its own
priorities.
He said that political temperature of every party would be different
and a joint and effective strategy is needed to equalize the
temperature, adding that Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan should move forward
for a joint sitting to prepare a joint policy, adding that they would
welcome the opposition leader’s decision.
He said that opposition should take decision according to its
strength and situation, assemblies should not be the target that if
government is dissolved before the time then it would gain sympathy
that they do not get chance to complete their tenure.
He said that normally it is tradition that who rules the federal
that party wins in Kashmir, adding that Kashmiris should use their vote
freely and should not support this kind of tradition.
He said that Kashmir is a very sensitive matter and Indian and
Pakistan on LOC without defined borders cannot restore peace because in
this open field agencies also play their role in the area.
Replying a question about restoration of MMA, he said that he seems
no hurdle in the restoration and contacts are not broken so in the few
coming days they will initiate serious efforts to restore alliance,
adding that they play hope politics.
Replying another question, he said that Pakistan People’s Party and
army are on the same page and both are delivering to America without
any difference, adding that PPP and ANP works according to American
instructions.
He said that Abbottabad commission was made disputed and a question
mark for the masses of country, adding that a commission, which would
focus military that may not be succeeded and America is keeping eyes on
Pakistan’s nuclear assets.
He said that army, agencies and institutions should understand the
sensitivity and not implementation on joint resolution of parliament is
a weakness of Pakistani democracy and all democratic powers should
think about the stability of the country.
He said that ANP is in contact with America and assuring its
obedience that Pakistan’s land is available to do whatever you want to
do in the region, adding that political and military leadership import
policies from America.
He said that Pervaz Musharraf dragged the country into crisis,
adding that no one knows army chief in India but in Pakistan Army Chief
General Kayani comes before the President Zardari and Prime Minister
Gilani.
He said that PPP do not have courage to rig the general elections,
adding that if establishment does not play its role in the elections
then fair and transparent elections are possible and establishment
should respect the law and constitution and should not interfere in the
elections.
Replying a question Maulana Fazl said that Pakistan should also be
included in the dialogues for restoration of peace in Afghanistan
because situation is shifting from Afghanistan to Pakistan and it
should be stopped without using a power. SANA
