ISLAMABAD: PML-N newly elected president Mian Nawaz Sharif has said
his party will not hesitate to launch movement again for restoration of
sanctity of judiciary.
“We had launched movement for
restoration of sanctity of sacred institution of judiciary. We will not
allow any one to degrade judiciary. We will not let the rulers succeed
in their nefarious designs. We will launch movement if we will be
forced for the sake of dignity of judiciary”, he said this while
addressing PML-N Central General Council (CGC) meeting here Wednesday.
“I
have directed party chief whip Sheikh Aftab to file requisition for
summoning National Assembly on the issue of non honouring the decisions
of apex court”, he held.
A dictator had broken PML and carved
out an artificial PML but the time had proved that power of people was
stronger than the power of bullet, he underlined.
He regretted
that Pakistan had been pushed back on the way to retrogression by the
present regime. National economy was in shambles and on the other side
government was spending money on the luxuries ruthlessly, he added.
Corrupt
gang is a spot on the face of democracy, he said adding nation knows it
well what is the agenda of rulers. Government is playing the politics
of hypocrisy in the name of reconciliation, he alleged.
“We are
taunted of facing political isolation. This isolation is our pride . We
have sided with conscience of people by kicking the corridors of power.
Those never stand isolated who support truth”, he added.
If we
are voted to power again then we will give vision and such policies
that the national economy will grow manifold, he announced. Our
economic experts have started evolving road map so that whatever
policies are framed by us should be implemented when we come to power,
he added.
Nawaz Sharif said that Asif Zardari selected
mausoleum of Benazir Bhutto for targeting him but “I want to remind him
that for what steps I stressed upon him bear the signatures of Benazir
Bhutto and these were given the name of charter of democracy”.
We
all will have to control the situation of Karachi, he stressed. If it
is in the knowledge of interior minister who are behind disorder in
Karachi then as to why he does not make their names public, he
questioned.
Creation of new provinces is a good thing, he said
adding he supports it. But provinces should be carved out on
administrative basis and not on ethnic lines, he held.
Speaking
on the occasion Mian Shahbaz Sharif said the motherland was demanding
its right from you. If the idols of corruption were not smashed today
then the nation and history would never forgive us. The money stashed
in off shore accounts would have to be brought back so that the
homeless persons, orphans and jobless people could benefit from the
public wealth, he underlined.
The afflicted nation was asking
question from Nawaz Sharif that the decisions of the judiciary were
being trampled by corrupt rulers for the restoration of which they had
launched long march. We have to decide today that we will salvage this
nation from the grip of corrupt rulers, he added.
Asif Zardari
is chief of gang of Ali Baba and forty thieves, he said. “ I want to
remind Mian Nawaz Sharif that he should decide today and order me to
quit chief ministry of Punjab and come on the roads so that the nation
could get rid of the rulers.
“We have to make pledge today that
we should raise our Lashkar and besiege the corrupt rulers imposed on
the nation. The people are not ready to listen more that the corrupt
