Karachi: 18 killed, 3 arrested in fresh wave of violence

KARACHI: Target killing and sacked deadbodies have begun to surface once again in the Karachi metropolis as nine more persons were killed on Wednesday.

Unknown persons killed one 35-year old Junaid s/o Abdul Rehman. The deceased was member of Karachi Bar Association and a lawyer of Sindh High Court.
In another ghastly act of killing unknown persons killed one Jiye Sindh Qaumi Mahaz activist Qambar s/o Hashim while two unidentified sacked deadbodies have been found in Chawla market, of Nazimabad number1. Both had been subjected to torture before being shot dead from a very close range.
Another two sacked deadbodies have also been discovered from Sharifabad Railway barrier. One body has been discovered to be that of a 42-year old male while the other deadbody is of 35-year old female. Both remain unidentified.
One Baldeep Singh s/o Siagol dad was also shot dead in Garden area, while unknown persons have killed 2 PPPP activists, Muhammad s/o Ahmad Baloch and Tariq Baloch s/o Rahim Bakhsh.
One 3-day old and one 6-day old deadbody have also been found. While two political activists were shot in Orangi Town, where one Shahid Hussain and a 10-year old girl were also injured.
After the killings angry mob torched a truck, while police conducted a search operation in Shah Faisal Colony, arresting 3 suspects. Online
