Supreme Court last hope against corrupt govt: Imran Khan

Chairman Pakistan Tehrik-e-Insaf (PTI) Imran Khan has said that Supreme Court is people’s last hope against the corrupt government and the military should stand by judiciary.

He said this while addressing a press conference in Multan Sunday. According to the PTI leader, only mid-term election could rescue the government from the present crises. Imran said he was foresting a change in the country and the government would be swept away in that ‘tide of change.
He said the armed forces should not support the looters of national exchequer, or the NRO beneficiaries. Vested political interests are against a free Supreme Court. He said the two parties PPP and the PML-N could no longer hoodwink people. He demanded restructuring of Election Commission and called urged the need to make it independent.
“Voters list should be corrected and Election Commission should be made independent,” he said. The country could suffer bloodshed if elections do not bring a change in the country,” he cautioned.
Imran Khan said PTI would hold next public meeting in Lahore and would tell the so-called ‘kings’ of Lahore about the impending revolution in the country. Online
