Tehrik-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) commander Fazal Saeed Haqqani has separated from the militant organisation and formed his own group.
Speaking to the media, Fazal Haqqani said that he had taken this step in protest against the suicide attacks on mosques and innocent people.
He has now formed a new group called Tehrik-i-Taliban (Islami), Geo News reports.
According to sources, Fazal Haqqani was the TTP commander in Pakistan's Kurram Agency and had stepped up training centres in different areas.
In the past, Fazal Haqqani's associates would abduct people and keep them in their training centres, and after receiving ransom money, they used to either release or kill their captives. ANI
