despite the clear-cut instruction by Election Commission AJK, Punjab

station in G-6 on the occasion of general election to the legislative
assembly of Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK).

security personnel were provided to the government of AJK so that it
could easily control security situation on the polling day.

provided not only assistance for security but also deployed NADRA
officials to avoid any mistake and ensure free and fair elections,” he
said.
He urged the Chief Election Commissioner should take
notice of ignoring its instruction by Punjab government. On a query, he
said that the elections in certain constituencies were postponed and
would be rescheduled soon after consultation with political parties.
