Minister Syed Yusuf Raza Gilani Monday said that PPP’s victory in Azad
Jammu and Kashmir elections reflects that the people have confidence in
the commitment of Pakistan Peoples’ Party for the cause of Kashmiri
people. The party, he said, would continue with its policy of
reconciliation and like to take along other parties for the larger
interest of the people of Azad Jammu and Kashmir.The Prime Minister who
is also the Senior Vice President of PPP was talking to Syed Khursheed
Ahmad Shah, Minister for Religious Affairs, Mian Manzoor Ahmad Wattoo,
Minister for Kashmir Affairs and Gilgit-Baltistan and Mrs. Faryal
Talpur, MNA and President of PPP Women Wing at the Prime Minister’s
House.
The Prime Minister said that PPP is a federal party and symbol of unity
of the country. The party has representation and following in all parts
of the country as well as in Azad Jammu and Kashmir and
Gilgit-Baltistan.
