Islamabad: DG ISPR (Military Spokesman) on Wednesday said that we reject the allegations leveled by senior US military officials before the Senate Armed Services committee as reported in section of press casting aspersions on the desire and capability of Pakistan army to fight militancy.

In a statement, DG ISPR (Military Spokesman) said that the army is engaged in active operations against militants in three of the seven agencies in the tribal belt where as the remaining agencies we are intensely involved in consolidation and stabilization. There is an intelligence sharing mechanism where we promptly react to any actionable intelligence that is provided in time, he said.
