MIRANSHAH: A US drone strike on Friday killed six people when they
were reportedly fired two missiles in North Waziristan Agency.
According
to the media reports, the missiles hit Tappi area of Miranshah, the
main town of North Waziristan, killing six persons. Friday’s attack was
the seventh to be reported in Pakistan’s tribal areas near the Afghan
border since US Navy seal raid that killed Osama bin Laden in
Abbottabad on May 02.
A joint session of the parliament had passed a resolution against the drone attacks but to no avail.
