Religious seminaries maligned by anti-sate elements: Fazal ur Rehman


PESHAWAR: Chief Jamiat Ulema Islam- Fazal (JUI-F), Maulana Fazal ur Rehman said that anti-sate forces are making conspiracy against Pakistan by connecting religious Madrassas with terrorist activities.
While addressing Ulema Convention organized under JUI-F here on Sunday,
the Chief of JUI-F said that Mehran Base fiasco has become riddle which needs to investigate soon. We do not want to leave our Army alone.
He said that there is no sovereignty of Parliament as the resolutions which were passed from the Parliament unfortunately are not being implemented. While criticizing the PPP-led coalition government he said that government does not take into confidence on crucial decisions.
Maulana Fazal maintained that the present government which is ruling by the votes of people is enslaving the country in the hands of the U.S. The current policies of the government are leading the country in dangerous zone. JUI-F has played a pivotal role in politics of the country and no one can ignore the importance of JUI-F. No incident can harm our ideological journey in politics.
While talking about the U.S. Maulana said that unless the U.S. remains present in the region, there will be no peace and stability. The United States of America is not only an enemy of the humanity but also Ummah.
The Chief said that the U.S. waged war in Afghanistan which leads towards unrest and instability rather peace. Terrorist activities have been accelerated in and this wave of terrorism has engulfed Pakistan as well. Pakistan has borne more loss than anyone by becoming coalition partner of the U.S. in war against terror and thousands innocents have lost their lives.
He expressed grave concern over the U.S. drone strikes in Tribal Areas and termed it as against the sovereignty of Pakistan.
He maintained that the country has been passing through a difficult situation of its history where people have been facing number of problems including poverty, inflation, unemployment and unrest.
Maulana Fazal said that despite criticizing on each other, all political forces should unite at one platform to bring peace in the country.
While emphasizing on JUI-F workers, the Chief urged that they should play their role by sending message of the party and by making more functional. Online
