Pakistan Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif has said the country's sovereignty and integrity is directly linked to the implementation of resolution against United States-led drone attacks.
He questioned as to why the federal government was shying from implementing the resolution if Pakistan has an elected and independent Parliament.
He said the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) party would do everything possible to get the resolution implemented, The Nation reports.
He also blamed the ruling government for not adequately presenting Pakistan's case to the US.
He said Pakistan was suffering due to 'American' war against terrorism that has become 'our war due to inept government', adding it is time to dethrone Pakistan's ruling leadership as it has failed to perform in all fronts.
Shahbaz stressed the need for devising national policies on defence and development toteer the country out of the present crises.
Criticising the country's military leaders, he said they preferred bowing to foreign powers rather than becoming responsible political leaders. ANI
