ISLAMABAD: Acting upon Prime Minister Syed Yousaf Raza Gilani’s advice, President Asif Ali Zardari has approved regularization of 19 additional judges.
The summary to regularize 19 additional judges and appointment of three additional judges in Lahore and Balochistan High court was sent by Prime Minister to President after Parliamentary committee on judges appointment endorsed the recommendations of judicial commission in this regard.
President Asif Ali Zardari has approved the summary for approval of 19 additional judges out of which 15 judges belong to Lahore High court which include Justice Nasir Saeed Shaikh, Justice Najam Ul Hassan, Justice Manzoor Ahmad Malik, Justice Sardar Tariq, Masood, Justice Ajaz Ul Hassan, Justice Mansoor Ali Shah, Justice Shaikh Ahmad Faroq, Justice Shahid Saeed, Justice Raof Ahmad Sheikh, Justice Ajaz Ahmad, Justice Muhammad Khalid Mehmood Khan, Justice Shahid Hameed Dar, Justice Mazhar Iqbal Sindho and Justice Shamim Khan while 4 belong to Balochistan High Court which include Justice Jamal Ahmad Khan Mandokhail, Justice Ghulam Mustafa Mangal, Justice Tahira Safdar and Justice Muhammad Noor.
