Iran, Afghanistan and Pakistan senior officials are to meet in November in Kabul to discuss further cooperation on battling drug trafficking, ISNA news agency reported.
Top officials of Iran, Afghanistan and Pakistan drug control met Tuesday in the UN office in Tehran where they discussed measures to boost information exchange, joint operations and cooperation in strategic places across shared borders to fight drug smuggling.
The trilateral initiative was made by the UN Office on Drugs & Crime (UNODC) in Tehran. The office collects financial sources, offers secretariat support and technical aid to play as the project's coordinator in the region.PPI
