TOLUCA, Mexico – Police in the suburbs of Mexico City say they found
a total of five decapitated bodies on Tuesday with signs of the kind
frequently left by drug gangs.
The two sites where the bodies were found are located in Mexico State, which surrounds the capital.
Mexico
state chief prosecutor Alfredo Castillo says four of the bodies were
found in a compact car. Their heads were also found in the vehicle.
Another body was found Tuesday in plastic bags. It had also been decapitated.
Near the bodies police found messages signed "HCC," an apparent reference to a drug gang.
While
the city has been spared most of the drug violence plaguing northern
cities, drug-related executions have occurred in communities just to
the west of capital. AP
