Prime Minister Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani has said that talks about
the removal of General Kayani and DG ISI Gen Pasha are foolish, adding
that I am satisfied with the performance of the Gen Kayani and Gen
Pasha, adding that during war a general could not be changed. He said
that general Kayani is a pro-democratic general.
He said that this matter is being highlighted by some people who are
following vested interests, adding that Hussain Haqqani had submitted
resignation prior to summoning him by me, adding that the resignation
was summoned to hold the fair trial of the memogagte.
Talking to media persons he said that we had called the meeting of
the DCC and it had attended by military and civilian leadership and we
had taken some decisions including stopping of NATO supplies and to get
