LAHORE: Foreign Minister Hina Rabbani Khar has called on Prime
Minister (PM) Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani and apprised him of the details of
trilateral and regional conference in Istanbul.
PM said
Pakistan was playing pivotal in global efforts for sustainable peace in
Afghanistan. Pakistan wants peaceful resolution of this issue, he added.
National economy is bearing the brunt of 3.5 million Afghan
refugees, he underlined. International community should play its due
role for repatriation of Afghan refugees to their motherland besides
