Restructuring of PPPP South Punjab means new province: Wattoo

LAHORE: federal minister for Kashmir Affairs, Manzoor Ahmad Wattoo has termed the restructuring of PPPP’s South Punjab chapter as a step towards setting up a new province.

Taking to media after his talks with PPPP general secretary Jehangir Badr, the federal minister expressed that nobody would oppose the motion/resolution if it were ever tabled, as anybody doing so would be politically destroyed.
Discounting any dispute with PML-N, he nevertheless held Shahbaz Sharif’s tirade against President Zardari as against political brotherhood and ethics. He also warned that should PPPP endeavor to dissolve the Punjab government, the forward block would be totally at a loss to help Punjab government.
He said that Punjab government was actually pitted against Imran Khan, and said that Punjab government’s movement against federal government would flop. Talking on the occasion, Jehangir Badr said that PPPP did not want to use foul language against other political parties, and also objected of misuse of power and a major political mistake by Punjab government.
