ISLAMABAD: Interior Minister Rehman Malik has lauded the efforts of
Islamabad administration to counter the dengue epidemic and directed
Chief Commissioner (CC) of Islamabad to continue spray campaign.
The
parks, tube wells, fountains, swimming pools, ware houses of old tires,
bus stands and other places will be the main targets for spray to
ensure the eradication of dengue virus.
He said awareness
campaigns should be carried on to protect people from the virus attack
adding that best treatment facilities should be provided to dengue
positive patients.
He added the campaign should be maintained
to eliminate dengue virus from Islamabad and its adjourning areas by
utilizing all the resources. Online
