Karzai may remove his confusion regarding Pakistan: PM Gilani

Multan: Prime Minister Syed Yousaf Raza Gilani has said that Afghan President Hamid Karzai should remove his misapprehensions about Pakistan as she is ready to negotiate with entire world including USA on the equality basis.

He was speaking to the public meeting on the occasion of foundation stone laying ceremony of Multan Khanewal Motorway Saturday. The Prime Minister said that the All Parties Conference has proved no one would be allowed to even think against the integrity of Pakistan. The purpose f convening of APC was to bring those parties to the consultation process, which has not any representation in the parliament. The entire leadership showed a political foresight and a message was conveyed that entire nation has been united by forgetting differences.
He said that one more province would be made to remove the sense of inferiority of Southern Punjab. “As a matter of fact this gathering is the referendum for new province. I would not allow anyone to carry out injustice or discrimination with Southern Punjab.
“No one would be allowed to even think against Pakistan’s soldiery. We are a peace loving nation and desires that peace may be prevailed not only inside the country but also in the entire world and for this purpose we are ready to talk anyone but on level playing field. We would take each and every decision keeping in view the interest and necessities of Pakistan.
He said that the statement of Michael Mullen caused coldness in Pakistan and US terms. Even US administration did not agree with him. After APC, USA has given the message that they could not win the terror war without Pakistan.
He said that although government thinks that Afghan President Hamid Karzai is the friend of Pakistan but he has some misunderstanding. He should not have any doubt on the intentions of Pakistan, which neither interfere in the internal affairs any country nor permit anyone to do so. He said that Pakistan would help Afghan government when they need it.
