RAWALPINDI: The member Board of Rawalpindi Education Board has recommended action against Director Sports Noreen Mazhar on proving of embezzlement allegations against her.

According to sources, several girls Colleges affiliated with Rawalpindi Education Board, informed the Chairman of the Board in written about alleged involvement of Director Sports Noreen Mazhar in embezzlement under the head of athlete’s travel and daily allowances while demanded investigation and action against the perpetrators.

The Rawalpindi Education Board formed an inquiry committee to probe into the case. During meeting under the Member Board Committee, the embezzlement allegations against her were proven and the Committee recommended dismissal of the Director Sports.

Sources alleged that Noreen Mazhar had been involved in misappropriation under the head of female athlete’s travel and daily allowances during last two years while she sent fake athletes to represent Rawalpindi Board in All Pakistan Inter Board competitions. Sources further told Online that despite recommendation of the Member Board, Chairman Education Board is hesitant to take immediate action against Director Sports Noreen Mazhar.

Girls Colleges affiliated with Rawalpindi Education Board expressing grave concerns over the situation demanded an immediate action against Noreen Mazhar otherwise they would boycott annual sports competition under Rawalpindi Education Board. Online
