PML-N ready for long march once again: Nawaz Sharif

PESHAWAR: PML-N president Nawaz Sharif has said his party will not hesitate in taking revolutionary decisions on the pattern of Long March to change the fate of the country.

He said this while addressing workers convention here Friday in a local hotel. PML-N leaders Pir Sabir Shah, Sardar Mehtab Abbasi, Iqbal Zafar Jhagra and other office bearers were also present on the occasion.
He went on to say only youths could steer the country out of crisis. People were worried about the future of Pakistan as corruption, inflation and unemployment were rampant in the country, he said.
He held that “we had cooperated with government for the progress of the country but the rulers failed to address the problems facing the people”.
Lambasting the government on Karachi situation he said Supreme Court’s orders were not being implemented which was insult of the apex court. Government should have taken action on security situation in Karachi before suo motto notice of Supreme Court. But government showed weakness and opportunists sabotaged the peace of Karachi.
“Our government launched the projects of Motor way, yellow cab and Indus High Way but these projects were abandoned with the dissolution of our government”, he regretted.
Power plant is still lying on Karachi port and 450 megawatt electricity could be generated from it, he indicated. But rulers were playing with the future of the people for the sake of commission.
He visited Lady Reading hospital and inquired about the health of the children who were injured in suicide attack on students of a private school in Mittni. Online
