ISLAMABAD: Acting President Farooq H. Naik confirmed the services of
four additional judges of Sindh High Court on the advice of Prime
Minister Syed Yousaf Raza Gillani on Friday.
Those judges that
got confirmation including Justice Shahid Anwar Bajwa, Justice Ahmad
Ali Sheikh, Justice Aqeel Ahmed Abbasi and Justice Munib Akhtar.
Earlier
their names were recommended by the parliamentary committee for the
appointment of judges in apex judiciary before sending them to Prime
Minister, who sent the names of judges to Aiwan-e-Sadr for confirmation. Online
