My political career ends at Badin: Dr Zulfiqar Mirza

BADIN: Former Sindh Interior Minister Doctor Zulfiqar Mirza has said on Friday that he started parliamentary politics from Badin and now he is bidding farewell to politics from the same point.

Addressing a press conference here on Friday at Mirza Husnain’s farm, former Interior Minister Sindh Doctor Zulfiqar Mirza said during his tenure total 300 workers of PPP were killed and total 300,000 weapon licenses were issued which could be used to ensure law and order in the country including Sindh.
He further said that now he is free and if any innocent citizen would be killed in Karachi then five terrorists would be killed. He said that he had requested to Prime Minister Syed Yusuf Raza Gilani six times to summon leaders of all political parties and Chief of the Army staff and Chief of ISI should be invited to ensure law and order in Karachi.
He said that after hanging of Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto; the party’s confidence on courts has ended. He said that he would produce the evidences before the court over one condition if his statement should be aired before media.
He said that MQM tried to acquire plot worth of 5 billion in Karachi while the party had minted one billion rupees on name of salaries of employees of Karachi Development Authority but when he created hurdles in the party’s nefarious designs MQM became his enemy.
He said that Governor Sindh Doctor Ishrat ul Ibad offered him 60 per cent commission but he refused. He said that the evidences that he had presented before the media was tantamount to TT pistol but the remaining evidences are equal to rocket launchers and machine guns.
He said that Altaf Hussain wrote a letter to Tony Blair in 2011 to eliminate ISI and had pledged that they would stand by with those who wanted to break Pakistan. He said that after his press conference Altaf Hussain has disappeared from the scene.
He said that now he wanted to serve humanity and only bullet could make him silent and he is waiting for it. Online
