11 killed in different accidents across Punjab

At least eleven persons have been reported killed and many other injured in various incidents on the second day of Eid across Punjab.

In first accident, atleast seven people were killed in a mini truck-bus crash in Faisalabad Thursday evening.
According to reports, a speedy bus crashed into a mini truck on Sargodha Road in Faisalabad, leaving seven including all six onboard in the mini truck and many other riding in another car behind the bus injured.
The rescue teams rushed to the accident site and moved the dead bodies and the injured to the hospital while police have started their investigation.
It is not known that who is responsible of this deadly road accident as the bus driver has managed to escape from the scene while all six riding in the mini truck have been killed in the crash.
All injured belong to same family of Faisalabad and they were returning from Sargodha; their car hit the crashed vehicles after accident as it was running right behind those
Meanwhile in another incident, at least four including two children have been reported killed and 21 injured in a van’s cylinder blast in Lodhran.
According to details, a family of Gogra area of Lodhran was going for a picnic to Head Panjnad this day; when van reached near Basti Gharibabad its cylinder blasted with a loud bang.
Four including two children died on the spot while 21 others sustained serious burn injuries.
The rescue teams rushed to scene and moved the dead bodies and injured to a nearby hospital. Online
