QUETTA: All Pakistan Oil Tankers Owners Association (APOTOA) has demanded from the government to take tangible steps to ensure safety of NATO oil tankers and recover snatched oil tankers and punish the culprits otherwise supply of oil products would be stopped.
Addressing to press conference here in Quetta press club on Friday, Chairman All Pakistan Oil Tankers Owners Association Haji Muhammad Akram Durrani has demanded from the government to take tangible steps to ensure safety of NATO oil tankers and recover snatched oil tankers and punish the culprits otherwise supply of oil products would be stopped after twenty-four hours.
He said that the drivers of the NATO oil tankers are being kidnapped and the administration is playing role of silent spectator.
Answering to question he said that dozens of drivers have been killed in attacks on NATO oil tankers and Law Enforcing agencies have failed to arrest the culprits. He said that the miscreants have kidnapped eight oil tankers with drivers, during last two months while the situation is creating sense of insecurity among the drivers.
On this juncture Chairman of the Association Haji Muhammad Akram Durrani, Vice Chairman Munawar Masood, General Secretary Rafiq Ahmad Kakar, Khanzada Masood, Malik Abaidullah, General Secretary Anar Gull Kakar and Subhan Ali Sahil was present.
After, the members of the Association staged protest demonstration before Quetta press club and chanted slogans against the government and the police. Online
