Former Pakistan Captain Shahid Afridi will leave for London on Wednesday to participate in the English T-20 tournament.
The flamboyant all rounder was earlier supposed to leave for London today, but due to his father's arrival from the US after treatment, his departure has been delayed by a day.
Afridi will represent Hampshire in the tourney. He is scheduled to make his first appearance for the side in Thursday's encounter against Essex.
The 31-year-old had locked horns with the PCB by announcing his retirement from international cricket after being dumped as one-day captain, and criticising the current management.
The PCB restored Afridi's no-objection certificate (NOC) to clear the way for him to play abroad but levied a heavy fine. (ANI)
