The National Assembly on Tuesday approved fourteen demands for grants worth 90.723 billion rupees relating to Ministries of Interior, Religious Affairs and Water and Power for the next financial year.
The House rejected 153 cut motions moved by opposition members
against demands for grants for the Ministries of Interior and Water and
Power after thorough debate and voting.
The opposition however withdrew its 23 cut motions against demands for grants for Religious Affairs Ministry and the Minister Syed Khurshid Ahmad Shah appreciated this gesture. SANA
